Prairie Switch recounts the socioeconomic and personal familial history of El Campo, Texas, reflecting on the ancestral significance of liminality and generational distance between migration, tradition, and homeland. Metal rails are welded and faceted with wooden planks into a wreath-shape, wooded blocks that have been drawn and sculpted are placed at the top and bottom of the sculpture, holding significant artifacts.
